Alm Siebenhütten
ChataPopis
Originally there were seven individual alpine huts on this site on the eastern ridge of the Königsberg, hence the name Siebenhütten. In idyllic surroundings at 1,297 m, the alp welcomes guests with a children's playground and a south-facing view. It is considered a meeting place for hikers, mountain bikers and connoisseurs who are looking for coziness and originality. The short ascent from the parking lot and the possibility of crossing the entire Königsberg with views of Voralpe, Haller Mauern, Sengsengebirge to the Dachstein massif invite you to visit.
Overnight stay possibilities with breakfast up to 9 persons are given. The Siebenhütten is also recommended for day trips, especially in combination with a stop at the Kitzhütte, about one and a half hours away. Popular and visited by countless people every year is the Siebenhütten festival mid August.
In winter, it is possible to go to the Siebenhütte with snowshoes or touring skis. In the winter season, however, it is not staffed.
Opening hours: 25 May to 31 October, Thursday closed
