Herrenalm (open from june till september)
Lodge / hutYour stay
The alpine hut on the Herrenalm, which dates back to the Middle Ages, lies at 1,327 m protected in a small basin, which can only be reached after a walk. As a reward, a rustic, stone-built alpine hut with a steep hipped roof awaits with drinks and simple snacks.
If you climb a little higher to the Leonhardikreuz, you can enjoy impressive views of the Ötscher, Dürrenstein and the Lunzer Seental. The elongated summit ridge of the Dürrenstein makes the mountain hike an impressive experience due to the open alpine landscape. The mattress camp in the Herrenalmhütte is designed for about 20 people and can also be used without a sleeping bag (simple, solid blankets available).
Overnight guests are requested to contact Mr. and Mrs. Pöchacker by telephone.
Opening hours: 1 June to 15 September
