Description
Hochrieß Wildlife Park is a popular excursion destination for families and is located between Wieselburg and Purgstall. In 2022, the approx. 23-hectare area was transformed into an adventure park for the whole family - with new enclosures, a children's puzzle pass, a 1.8 km circular trail and a panorama square with a large playground.
In total, there are around 45 different animal species in the park. Fallow deer, sika deer, red deer and mouflons can be observed just like in the wild, and some of them can also be fed. Our automatic feeders are available in front of the enclosures, where you can buy the right food for the animals.
There is also a petting enclosure with goats and a wildlife enclosure where children can feed mouflon or sikka deer in direct contact.
Each season offers different insights and special features for our visitors:
