The three natural lakes of municipality Traismauer span a total of 700 m² and are the ideal way to cool off during the summer months. Next to their excellent water quality that is checked annually, bathers and swimmers are particularly enthusiastic about the well-maintained sunbathing lawns.

The extensive lawn with plenty of trees giving shade has room for a lot of sun-seeking bathers. The swimming lakes are particularly attractive for families because the lawns offer plenty of space for playing. A small playground with waterslide and a beach volleyball court round off the various facilities and possibilities around the lakes. If the weather is not quite hot enough for swimming, lakeside walks along the natural bathing lakes are a popular alternative. Of course, the lakeside facilities include sanitary facilities in good condition.

Several minutes from the lakes you will find the Donaurestaurant ("Danube restaurant") located directly at the Danube river.

Getting there is both possible by car as well as by bike along the Traisental Cycle Path (Traisental-Radweg). The access road from Traismauer to the lakes is in very good condition and free parking spaces are available in immediate proximity.

In the interest of all bathers and swimmers, dogs are not allowed on the sunbathing lawns and areas between 1st of May and 30th of September.

Public arrival is easily accessible by train or bus.
