A unique combination of sports and recreation against the impressive natural backdrop of local mountains Gippel and Göller – this is what St. Aegyd am Neuwalde, widely known as the "Nordic Centre", offers its visitors. No less than 100 km of groomed cross-country ski tracks, gorgeous snowshoeing tours in an idyllic winter setting, hospitality and a cosy atmosphere attract aficionados of the Nordic sports to the alpine realms of the Mostviertel region.
The nordicsports academy, directly located in the centre of St. Aegyd, serves as an information and service centre for all questions concerning the Nordic sports. Courses in Nordic Walking, Nordic Blading, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are offered in all levels from beginner to pro. Additionally, you can book guided tours and private lessons with master trainer Christa Strametz.
