Gasthof Franzl

A pretty house in the style of the turn of the century, located at the entrance to Wilhelmsburg, houses the Gasthof Franzl. The Franzl family has been spoiling their guests here for four generations: charming and humorous, with down-to-earth regional cuisine, comfortable rooms and imaginative offers. In addition to the new or lovingly adapted rooms, the dining rooms and the chestnut garden are popular places to linger. The kitchen relies on fresh produce from the surrounding area. The beef comes from their own farm, the brother-in-law supplies milk and honey, juices and schnapps. Tip: The Franzl inn also rents out e-bikes. The surrounding area invites you to go on leisurely bike tours: Choose the pleasure tour to the purveyors to the court, learn more about the culture in St. Pölten with the sound tower or take a small mountain tour over the hilly landscape to the eco-village in Eschenau. In the evening, the Franzls will spoil you with regional delicacies.
