Schindlhütte - no service in the moment

Lodge / hut, Tavern / inn

Description

Idyllically situated between the Erlauf River and pristine forests, the Schindlhütte in the Urmannsau near Kienberg/Gaming opens up a true recreational paradise for guests. Hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers are in the right place here. The restaurant is also ideally suited for family, Christmas and birthday parties. Two 3-bed rooms and one 4-bed room are available for overnight guests.

The Schindlhütte is not only a popular stopover for pilgrims on their way to Mariazell, but especially the perfect starting point for hikes to the Trefflingfall or the Ötscher stalactite cave. The latter can be reached (only) on foot in about 45 minutes. For experienced cyclists, various challenging mountain bike trails await in the surrounding area.

As a tasty alternative to the warm cuisine, the innkeepers also serve the popular Brettljause, sandwiches XL and various other cold snack delicacies.

Opening hours: vary depending on the month - current info can be found on the website (www.schindl-huette.at).
